The narrative unfolds as the esteemed wizard Cathbad summons you to the Red Branch Knights' Castle in the realm of Ulidia. Queen Maeve of Connacht has launched an invasion of Ulidia in pursuit of the mystical Brown Bull of Cooley. The valiant Knights of the Red Branch have valiantly confronted her forces, led by their esteemed champion, Cuchulainn.
Both armies have suffered considerable losses with Ulidia bearing the brunt. Macha, a vengeful deity, has unleashed her curse upon the warriors due to King Connor's mistreatment, compelling her to partake in horse racing while on the cusp of childbirth.
The battleground is now saturated with the blood of the fallen, and only you have the power to halt the senseless violence. This enchanted land beckons for your assistance. Arm yourself with your finest equipment as you are selected as Ulidia's Defender.
